Idiochromatic Color
Some minerals are nearly always the same color due to their composition and crystal structure. Their color is caused by the absorption or refraction of light of particular wavelength dependant on the individual crystal structure. Cu-minerals are nearly always blue or green, Fe-minerals red, Sulfur yellow and Mn-minerals pink.
